Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized totally solidified voltage conversion element by thermally uniting a resistor and a pyroelectric substance.
CONSTITUTION: Voltage conversion is performed utilizing the difference between the value of generated voltage based on pyroelectric effect of pyroelectric substance 1 by the heat of a resistor 2 and the value of voltage used for heating the registor. The voltage conversion value and frequency characteristic at this time depend on the physical properties and shape of the material which constitutes the element and required to thermally be united under the thermal condition that good thermal conduction from a register to a pyroelectric substance is provided. As resistor are applied such materials as generally used while as pyroelectric materials are used compound materials of ferroelectric ceramic and polyfluovinyllidene, and the like whereby this is used as suspention wherein powdered PbTiO2 is added at the prescribed ratio to the solution of polyfluovinylidene and dimethylformaldehyde, or as compound of polyfluovinylidene and PbTiO2 is used.
