Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep a constant inner pressure of an accumulator and provide a stable printing operation just after an ink injection is started by controlling an opening and closing a valve in response to a signal from an injection signal generating means and by restricting a number of rotation of a screw pump. CONSTITUTION:A start up of the screw pump 2 is performed with no signal being applied from the injection signal generator means 17, during this operation the three-way valve 4 is kept closed and a number of rotation of the screw pump 2 is kept low under a control from the driving control circuit 16. When a signal is generated from the injection signal generater means 17, the three-way valve 4 is released to produce a flow rate of the ink, and at the same time the number of rotation of the screw pump 2 is controlled to be increased by the driving control circuit 16. A feeding pressure of the ink is kept constant. Even if a printing signal is produced just after the injection signal is generated, the pressure to be applied to the head 5 is kept constant, resulting in no disturbance of printing operation.
