Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet recording device capable of achieving continously a printing without any undulation even during a continuous printing operation by controlling the electrification amount of an ink droplet by detecting a variation in the pressure of the ink supplied to an ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:When a variation in the supplying pressure of the ink supplied from a supply source 3 is detected by a pressure to electric resistance transducer 10, an electric signal is applied from the transducer 10 to an amplifier 11 to amplify. Subsequently, the signal is taken out in a circuit 12 for taking-out only a varied component and is applied to an electrification amount amplifying circuit 13. The electrification amount amplifying circuit 13 variably coutrols an amplifier gain associated with the output pulse of an electrification amount control circuit 5. When a pump pressure is high and a level of a varied component detecting output is greater than a standard value, the electrification amount of the ink droplet can be increased by raising a gain of the amplifier circuit 13 and setting the output level of the circuit 13 at a higher level than the standard value.
