Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the higher performance of particle frequency and particle speed by providing an ink feed chamber and an auxiliary pressure generating means consisting of a metal plate and piezoelectrical driving element to the ink inlet of a recording nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A print head 8 is so constituted that it has an effluent port 10 at the end of a recording nozzle 9, that a tubular piezoelectrical driving element 12 is disposed to the circumference of a pressure chamber 11, that an ink feed chamber 13 is provided to the rear stage of the pressure chamber 11, that a metal plate 14 is mounted to one of the walls thereof and that a piezoelectrical driving element 17 is mounted to the back thereof. Hence, by letting the piezoelectrical driving element 17 of the ink feed chamber 13 be also operated in synchronization to the voltage inpulse applied to the piezoelectrical driving element 12, the ink liquid flow flowing in the direction opposite from the effluent port 10 by the auxiliary pressure thereof is cut off and the higher performance of particle frequency and particle speed may be achieved.
