Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid jet recording head of high performance carrying out the discharge of liquid drips in a stable manner constantly and rendering a recorded picture of good quality at a high speed by providing an energy actuating part at a position in the flow channel of a liquid discharging part. CONSTITUTION:A recording head is constituted so as to satisfy the relations in the formula as shown wherein L is the length from a liquid-discharging part i.e., an orifice 104 to an inlet port 107, x is the length from the central point P of an energy acting part 106 to the inlet port 107 and l is the length of the energy actuating part 106 in the direction along a flow channel. EFFECT:In the device, an energy generated by giving a recording signal to the energy actuating part acts efficiently on the liquid present in the actuating part and the resultant motive force for discharge of liquid drips is consumed effectively for the purpose. The recording signal can be supplied to the energy actuating part by high frequency.
