Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an injection responsiveness against input signal to be adapted with high speed recording by a mechanism wherein a partition is provided at the interface of the input section and the orifice of a liquid chamber where an information signal input section is disposed. CONSTITUTION:A recording liquid 13 is introduced into a liquid chamber 11 at a given pressure p, and the thermal energy is transmitted to the recording liquid 13 located closely at a converter 14 to develop a sudden condition change within the liquid 13. The operating force developed by the said condition change is concentrated toward a liquid drop injection direction by a partition 18 positioned at the interface of the inlet 17 of the recording liquid and the position of an electric thermal converter 14, resulting to give a smooth flow to the orifice direction 12 of the recording liquid 13, thereby enabling to inject rapidly in response to the input signal.
