Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent injection failure and the decrease in injection performance and prevent the wasteful consumption of energy by operating the air bubble remover only when air bubbles enter the ink to remove the air bubbles. CONSTITUTION:An air bubble detector 4 and a deaerator 5 are provided in proximity between an ink tank 1 and a filter 2. During the operation of a printing mechanism 12, the air bubble detector 4 detects air bubbles and an amplifying level judger 7 amplifies the detection signal. When it judges that the signal has reached the preset reference level, the air bubble detection signal is sent out to a body control part 8. The body control part 8 controls a printing mechanism driving part 11 to stop the operation of the printing mechanism 12. Thence, the deaerator 5 is operated for a fixed time by controlling a deaerator driving part 9 to forcefully discharge the air bubbles in the ink channel 6. When the detection signal from the deaerator 4 no longer reaches the reference level, the body control part 8 stops the deaerator 5, then restarts the operation of the printing mechanism.
