CONSTITUTION:In an ink-jet recording device wherein ink drips are discharged from a nozzle, communicating with a pressure chamber, by providing drive signals to an electrostrictive element, while ink is sucked from an ink tank into the pressure chamber by a returning operation of the electrostrictive element, a pressurizer 3, increasing a pressure in the ink tank instantaneously and thereafter returning the pressure to an initial pressure instantaneously, is connected to the ink tank. When an invading of air bubbles into the pressure chamber, clogging of the nozzle and the like are happened and an abnormal in a recording condition is occured, the pressurizer 3 is operated during a head is being driven as usual.
