Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove air bubbles, adhered to wall surfaces of an outer chamber, surely by providing an ink feeding port with an oscillating body. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating body 20, such as a piezo-electric element or the like is provided at an ink feeding port 17 in an ink-jet recording device, wherein ink in an inner chamber 11 is ejected as particles through a communicating port 14 and a nozzle 15 by providing drive signals to an electromechanical transducing means 12 while the ink in an ink tank 19 is sucked into the inner chamber 11 through an ink feeding port 17 and an outer chamber 13 by an operation of the electromechanical transducing device 12 returning to a stationary condition, further, air bubbles are discharged from an air bubble discharging port 16 by pressurizing the ink in the ink tank 19 when the air bubbles in the outer tank 13 is removed. Upon removing air bubbles in the outer chamber 13, the ink in the ink tank 19 is pressurized while continuous driving pulses are provided to the oscillating body 20, and an oscillation is given to the ink flowing therethrough.
