Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a constant discharge quantity even if the water level of an initial tank may be changed, by means of combining air lift pumps in a plurality of steps, and to obtain a device capable of changing the pump-up quantity with ease, by means of changing the supplying quantity of compressed air of the air lift pump.
CONSTITUTION: In a case of an air lift pump device of three steps type by which a constant flow quantity of discharge water 16 is obtained from an initial water 15 in an initial water tank 14, discharge ports 2, 4, 6 of the firstWthe third pump-up pipings are set up at the upper parts of pump-up pipings 1, 3, 5 of the firstWthe third steps, thereby blast pipes 11, 12, 13 of the firstWthe third steps are connected to the lower part. And, the first pump-up piping 1 is inserted in the initial water 15 of the initial water tank 14, and the storage tank 7 of the second steps having an overflow port 9 at the lower part of the discharge port 2, is arranged, thereby the second pump-up piping 3 is inserted into tank thereof. Next, the third pump-up piping 5 of the third step having an overflow port 10 at the lower part of the discharge port 4 of the second pump-up piping, is inserted. The quantities of the compressed air supplied from said each blast pipes 11W13 are so set that they may be becomed to be reduced in the turn.
