Abstract
PURPOSE: To operate an actuator with a big capacity efficiently by arranging a pump of variable capacity type and a pump of fixed capacity type in a parallel row and controlling both pumps in proportion to the required flow.
CONSTITUTION: A variable capacity type pump 2 whose maximum discharge capacity is QA and a fixed capacity type pump 7 whose discharge capacity is QB more than QA are arranged in parallel row, the pressurized oil is supplied only from the variable capacity type pump 2 when a flow to be supplied to actuator 5 is less than QA, the pressurized oil is supplied only from the fixed capacity type pump 7 when the flow thereto is much more than the flow QA and less than QB, and the pressurized oil is supplied from the variable capacity type pump 2 and the fixed capacity type pump 7 when the flow is more than QB. Thus the actuator 5 with a big capacity is always enabled to be operated efficiently because only a required volume of flow may be discharged by the actuator.
