Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the good follow-up properties at the normal operation time by providing the means which varies the discharge time constant of the charge/ discharge circuit based on the switch signal of the input gate and thus shortening the recovery time of the cycle after the dropout dissolution. CONSTITUTION:The phase is compared through phase comparator 6 between the output signal sent from voltage control oscillator VCO8 and the input signal given through input gate 4. And this phase difference signal is applied to charge/discharge circuit 7 to produce the specified control signal to VCO8, and output signal 9 is delivered in synchronization with input signal 1. Switch element 15 is connected in series to resistance R2 of circuit 7, and the switching of element 15 is controlled by input gate switch signal 12 in order to secure variation of the discharge time constant based on the switching of gate 4. Thus the recovery time of the cycle can be shortened after dissolution of the dropout.
