Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure generation of the high-precision frequency through the voltage control oscillator by dividing part of the outut of the voltage control oscillator in the fixed ratio to feed it back to the phase comparator to be compared with the external clock or the high-precision oscillation signal. CONSTITUTION:Input change-over switch 3 selects either the clock supplied from the higher-rank station or the output of incorporated high-precision oscillator 1. The selected clock or output is devided 4 into 1/N1 to be applied to phase comparator 5. The output of comparator 5 receives elimination of its high frequency via LPF6 and is then sent to voltage control oscillator 7 to be extracted with generation of the synchronized frequency. At the same time, part of the output is divided 8 into 1/N2 and then fed back to comparator 5 to be compared with the output of counter 4. As a result, oscillator 7 can generate the high-precision frequency.
