PURPOSE:To prevent frame step out at a switching time, by connecting the voltage control oscillator of an auxiliary equipment to the oscillation control loop to phase- synchronize it with the timing pulse from the current equipment when the current equipment is normal. CONSTITUTION:When current equipment 4 is normal, voltage control oscillator 47 is disconnected from the oscillation control loop by switch 45 and is operated as a natural oscillator in current equipment 4, and voltage control oscillator 67 is connected to the oscillation control loop by switching means 65 and is phase-synchronized with the timing pulse from current equipment 4 in auxiliary equipment 6. When the current equipment is faulty, voltage control oscilltor 67 is disconnected from the oscillation control loop by the switching means and is operated as a natural oscillator in the auxiliary equipment, and voltage control oscillator 47 is connected to the oscillation loop by switching means 45 and is phase-synchronized with the timing pulse from the auxiliary equipment in current equipment 4.
