Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible multicolor recording with one tone of printing process by charging the charges of the polarity opposite from that of the multiple carriers of a photoconductive layer on a recording medium then performing charging of the same polarity and performing exposure of positive images at this same instant thence performing charging of opposite polarity and performing exposure of negative images at this same instant.
CONSTITUTION: A charger 12 is maintained at a negative potential with respect to a conductive substrate 8 by a DC power source 19 to induce negative charges on the surface of an insulation layer 10.
