PURPOSE:To improve the quality of steel strip and to recover the warm water of about 90 deg.C, by making up the fresh water so as to prevent the temperature rise and hold constant temperature of the spray cooling water being recycled, due to the heat of steel strip, at the continuous annealing of the steel strip. CONSTITUTION:The cold rolled steel sheet 4 is heated to 700-800 deg.C, and is treated by the recrystallization annealing, and is quenched by the spray box 5 to under 300 deg.C, and then, is treated by reheating and aging; hereby, the deep drawing steel sheet or the cold rolled high tension steel sheet is manufactured. Hereupon, the temperature of the spray cooling water rises up because of recycling; which causes deormation of steel sheet 4 owing to lack of cooling, and the formation of spatter type film; on purpose to prevent these troubles, the cold fresh water is sent from the feed pipe 14 to the spray box 5 through the comparator 27. The temperature of steel sheet 4 is measured by the thermometer 26, and the fresh water is sent to the inclined duct 10 as well; hereby, the steel sheet 4 is thoroughly cooled. The warm water of about 90 deg.C in the recycling tank 17 can be utilized as the cleaning warm water for the steel sheet 4, so that the electric power for heating the cleaning water becomes unnecessary.
