Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep a regenerative container safe against heat, by maintaining the temperature of the container below a maximum service level by a temperature buffer means which comprises a drain valve and a feed water valve.
CONSTITUTION: When the heat collection temperature approaches the maximum service level of the regenerative container 1 made of synthetic resin, the drain valve 12 is opened to discharge water. At that time, low-temperature water is supplied to the whole of a heat exchanger 4 through the holes 11 of a water conduit 8 and a ball tap 7 actuated because of the fall in the level of water 9 so that the heat exchanger 4 is instantly covered with the low-temperature water. The drain valve 12 senses the low-temperature water so that the valve closes. The hot water in the regenerative container 1 is thus kept below the maximum service temperature of the container. For heating a room, the hot water is conducted to heaters through circulating pipes 14, 15 by a pump controlled by a heat collection regulating sensor 13. For supplying hot water, heat exchange is instantaneously performed by a heat exchanger 5 of large heat transfer surface and the hot water is conducted through water conduits 5a of the heat exchanger.
