Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible to recover a waste heat cleanly and effectively with a heat pipe heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: A feed water 1 supplied from an inlet 13 of a heat pipe heat exchanger 6 to heat it by the heat exchange with a radiation portion of the heat pipes 17 in a heat receiving tank 11. Then the heated water is fed to kitchen 3, a bath room 4 etc. through a heater 2 and its drainage is guided to an inlet 15 of a heat absorbing tank 12 in the heat pipe heat-exchanger 6, where the drainage is allowed to heat-exchange with an endothermic portion of the heat pipe 17, and then discharged from an outlet 16 as a drainage 5. Therefore, the drainage from the bath 4 etc. can be recovered with a good efficiency without causing any mixing of the feed water and the drainage through the heat pipe 17.
