Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the practicality of the titled method by a method wherein microcapsules incorporating a latent-heat type heat-accumulating agent therein are mixed in hot water, in a thermal energy transporting method utilizing the sensible heat of water.
CONSTITUTION: A boiler 1 is provided with a feed portion 6 for microcapsules a which are about 10μ in diameter and incorporating a latent-heat type accumulating agent therein. At the boiler 1, thermal energy is supplied to water and the heat accumulating agent. The hot water with the heated microcapsules a therein is circulated to a radiator 3, where the heat is radiated to the atmoshere in the room. A hot-water tap 9 is branched through a filter 8 from a passage 5a on the discharge side of a pump 4, with respect to the radiator 3. Accordingly, it is unnecessitated to construct the entire piping in a corrosion-resistant structure, thereby, the structure is simplified and the capacity is enlarged.
