Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition having low super-cooling degree and minimal tendency of phase separation, and useful for hot water supply, room heating, etc., at a low cost, by compounding an alum and a specific amount of inorganic hollow microspheres.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by mixing an alum (e.g. potasium alum)and 1W30wt%, based on the whole composition, of inorganic microspheres(e.g. silas balloon).
EFFECT: The expected amount of the latent heat can be effectively utilized, and there is no lowering of the capacity even after repeated heating cycles.
