Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the optical system which is unaffected by the wavelengths of light by providing a light emitting part and photo detecting part to a spherical reflecting mirror and placing the photo detecting part in the position where the light from the light emitting part through a reflecting mirror enters. CONSTITUTION:The light from an optical fiber LF1 being a light emitting part enters an optical fiber LF2 being a photo detecting part by way of a concave faced mirror M. The light emitting optical fiber LF1 is small in light diameter and large in light radiation angle and the photo detecting optical fiber LF2 is large in light diameter and small in light radiation angle, these being placed in the positions of l1, l2 respectively from the concave faced mirror M. The light from the light emitting optical fiber LF1 may be totally entered to the photo detecting optical fiber LF2 by adjusting the distances of l1, l2. Since the reflecting mirror M has no factors such as refractive indices as with the case of lenses, the light of different wavelengths may be matched, thus the device is usable for multiplex communication.
