Abstract
PURPOSE: For efficient waste water treatment with reduced quantity of water, raw sewage containing COD and BOD components is diluted by circulating treated waste water and then subjected to aeration treatment.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water containing COD and BOD components discharged from chemical industry or raw sewage is diluted to 10W20 times by use of treated water which has been subjected to the final aeration to treat microbes and scheduled to be discharged. The diluted waste water is treated by air exposure in the presence of microbes thereby to reduce COD and BOD components. The so treated waste water is partly circulated for reuse as dilution water and the remaining water is discharged as disposal. Thus, the process effectively treat raw waste water, reducing discharged water.
