Abstract

The memory 14 storing the data corresponding to desired conversion characteristics is provided between the counter 15 and the converter 13, the data is read out from the memory 14 by taking the output of the counter 15 as the address instruction, and it is fed to the D-A converter 13. Thus, even if no means compensating the signal characteristics is provided externally, the analog signal in non-linear performance can be converted into the digital signal of linear performance.
