Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the writing command source to shift quickly to the next process by providing the high-speed writing means which carries out writing from the 1st to 3rd memory means plus the low-speed writing means to carry out writing from the 3rd to 2nd memory means respectively.
CONSTITUTION: When writing command source unit 3 transmits the data writing command to writing means 5, high-speed writing means 51 secures the buffer into which the data is to be put at intermediate memory device 4. At the same time, the data which is desired to be written into major memory device 2 from main memory device 1 is drawn out to be stored into the buffer secred. With end of this storage, means 51 transmits immediately the writing end signal to unit 3. Receiving this signal, unit 3 can proceed to the next process earlier than when the writing command is given directly to device 2. On the other hand, means 51 informs the writing position to the buffer of device 4 and low-speed writing means 52 each. Thus means 52 writes the buffer contents of designated device 4 into the designated position of device 2.
