Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of an engine by effectively utilizing exhaust heat from a radiator in an automotive cooler employing an absorption refrigerating machine, reducing load of the engine at cooling time and improving the engine cooling effect. CONSTITUTION:There is carryed on an automotive body an absorption refrigerating machine consisting of a generator 1 for generating refrigerant gas from refrigerant dense solution, a condenser 2 for condensing the refrigerant gas, an evaporator 3 performing refrigerating effect upon evaporation of liquefied refrigerant, and an absorber 4 for absorbing refrigerant gas after evaporated into refrigerant dilute solution. The generator 1 incorporates a cooling water conduit heated by the cooling heat of the engine 5. Thus, the refrigerant gas is generated by utilizing the exhaust head of the engine coolant to cool thereby with the refrigerant gas to thus perform the above purpose without using the revolution of the engine.
