Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from overheating in its slow revolution, by regenerating a moisture absorbent in the rapid revolution of the engine and by evaporating water to be absorbed in the low revolution of the engine to obtain a low temperature in an auxiliary cooler, which is used in the slow revolution of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When the rotational frequency of an engine is sufficiently high and a compression refrigerator is operating, a changeover valve 10 connects exhaust pipes 7, 9 to each other and a stop valve 11 is open and another stop valve 12 and an expansion valve 13 are closed. In that case, a moisture absorbent in a moisture absorber 1 releases water vapor which enters into a condenser 2 through a conduit 14 and the stop valve 11 and drained water is stored in a tank 3. When the revolution of the engine has become slow and the compression refrigerator is stopped, the valve 10 is switched to perform direct exhaust through the exhaust pipe 7. The moisture absorber 1 is then cooled. After that, the stop valve 11 is closed and the other stop valve 12 and the expansion valve 13 are opened so that the water in the tank 3 is conducted into an evaporator 4 through the expansion valve 13 and vaporized by heat absorption and absorbed by the absorber 1. Cool air obtained by the heat absorption is supplied into a vehicle room.
