Abstract
PURPOSE:To save energy, by using hot water for cooling an automobile engine as a heat source for evaporating a refrigerant of an absorption type refrigerating machine. CONSTITUTION:The hot water for cooling the automobile engine 1 is led to the heater 2 of the absorption type refrigerating machine to evaporate the refrigerant in a refrigerant solution, and after the vapor is condensed in a condenser 3, it is evaporated in an evaporator 6 within a car room 5 to effect cooling of the car room 5. The evaporated refrigerant is returned to an absorber 9, where it is absorbed into a dilute refrigerant solution from the heater 2, and then circulated to the heater 2. Thus, since the hot water for cooling the engine is utilized as a heat source and compressing energy is not specially needed, energy saving can be effected.
