Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the optimum tuning for the superheterodyne receiver of synthesizer system using the PLL by controlling the variable capacity element for tracking correction provided to the local oscillation circuit when the output of the IF. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of local oscillation circuit B is controlled to (f+ 455kHz) via PLL synthesizer 4, along with the tuning frequency of signal tuning circuit A to f (reception frequency) respectively. The tracking error is caused by dispersion of variable capacity element C. Comparator 5 compares the output of IF circuit 2 with reference voltage V. Based on this comparison result, CPU6 controls D/A converter 9 to vary control voltage VTR of tracking correcting variable cap CTR. In this case, synthesizer 4 controls control voltage VC to prevent the variation of the local frequency. In other words, voltage VTR is controlled continuously until the tuning frequency of circuit A becomes f and circuit 5 detects the optimum tuning state.
