Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a mass storage and any number of shift stages by using a certain number of random access memories RAM, one ring counter and flip-flops as many as RAMs. CONSTITUTION:Clock input (d) makes (n-1) ring counter 3 counts up and address signal (e) is supplied to two random access memory RAMs 11 and 12. After prescribed access time, data output (b1) and (b2) of RAMs 11 and 12 appear and are fetched in flip-flops 21 and 22 by clock signal (d). At this time, clock input (d) is at level ''Low'' and RAMs 11 and 12 start write operations. Before the change of clock input (d) into ''High'' ends, RAMs 11 and 12 write data to the read addresses and the RAM addresses are updated by next clock signal (d), so that the same operation will be repeated at the same address. In this way, a mass storage and any number of shift stages can be obtained.
