Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent possibility of dispersion in matching and to perform sensing in high accuracy by carrying out constantly unique operation at the initial period of matching and against the load variation.
CONSTITUTION: Impedance 1 to be measured is connected across measuring terminals 1 and 2. A voltage E is applied on the load impedance 1 from a high-frequency power supply for the measuring frequency, and a current I is flown to the load. A voltage which is in proportion to the load current I is introduced by a current transformer 6 and input into comparators 4 and 5. The output voltages Vd and Ve of the comparator 4 and 5 are pulse voltages. By comparing the phase-relationship between the two voltages, the range of the impedance can be measured.
