Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect a range from a minute current to a large current with a high precision and a good response by a comparatively low-cost transducer, by applying a bias to current detection signals and sending them from the high-voltage side and correcting bias components in the low-voltage side.
CONSTITUTION: Current transformer 6 is arranged on bus 1, and the output of current transformer 6 has the voltage waveform converted by current-voltage transducer 7 and is biased by DC bias circuit 8 and is converted to pulse frequency signals by voltage-frequency (V/F) transducer 9. Output pulses of V/F transducer 9 are transmitted to the low-voltage side through optical transmission circuit 10. Pulse frequency signals transmitted to the low-voltage side are converted to analogue signals by F/V transducer 11. In this case, a DC bias corresponding to bias components given by bias circuit 8 is subtracted.
