Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize such a structure in that the active power source is obtained from the DC current input signal itself, and thus to achieve a miniature size and economization with need of power supply from outside and to be effectively applied especially in the field of the industrial instruments (DC input of several mA). CONSTITUTION:DC current (about 4-20mA) input signal I1 is flown from signal transmitter 1 to signal detecting resistor 4 and the series circuit of Zener diode ZD5 via a pair of signal transmission lines 2 and 3. And the voltage proportional to I1 occurs at resistor 4, and nearly a constant active power supply voltage occurs at ZD5 regardless of the scale of I1 respectively. Then the overlap voltage of resistor is supplied to voltage-current conversion amplifier 6 which operates on a micro amount of power to be finally isolated from I1 via current transformer 9. At the same time, output voltage E0 proportional to I1 is produced. On the other hand, the overlap voltage of ZD5 obtains output voltage VB via free running multivibrator 20 and redoubled voltage rectifier circuit 25 to be supplied as the active power supply voltage.
