Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain continuously good and solid nugget without being stained the electrode by welding the electrode in the position where the film of the weld zone on the surface treated material in which treatments of corrosion resistance and insulating film have been made, is removed by laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam L1 focusing the laser beam L from the laser generator 1 is irradiated to the weld zone 4 on the surface of the surface treated material 8 and the film 6 on the portion is evaporated and removed in a moment. In the same manner, the refelector 2 is driven away from the light path and the film 6 of the weld zone 4 on the opposite side is removed by the laser beam L2 focused by the reflector 2'-2''' and the lens 3. In the same procedures, the pressure is applied to the surface treated material 9 whose film 7, 7 of the weld zone 5, 5 is removed by electrode 10, 10 of resistance welding and current is supplied for weld under the condition that the film does not exist in the zone where is surrounded by electric path 11, 11'. Then, the solid nugget is formed on the surface between the surface treated materials 8 and 9.
