Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the weld zone having a high reliability, by reflecting laser beam by rotating the mirror and moving the work or laser beam relatively and then, welding the joint conically scanning the laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam 4 is condensed spot-like on the joint part of the work 5 by the condensing lens 1 and is scanned circularly on the joint of the work 5 by rotation of the mirror 3. At that time, the joint 7 is welded and is sealed by scanning the laser spot on the joint 7 conically because the work 5 is moved in the joint direction. The laser spot having a high energy density, is scanned by making rotating speed of the mirror 3 high and molten closed seal having a high capacity, is obtained even when a little gap is found on the joint.
