Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain high purity treated water stably, by regenerating the resins, and mixing the positive and negative ion exchange resins after regeneration in specified methods, in a mixed bed type ion exhange apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: After the condensing treatment process by a mixed bed type desalting tower 1 having condensed water flow-in pipe 14 and flow-out pipe 15, the resins are sent into a regeneration tower 2, where positive and negative ion exchange resins are separated. The positive ion exchange resin is regenerated here, while the negative ion exchange resin is sent into a regeneration tower 3 to be regenerated. After regeneration, the upper layer part 9 of the anion resin is drawn into the tower 1, and the lower layer part 10 into a mixing tank 4. The upper layer part 6 of the cation resin is drawn into a tank 5, the middle part 7 into the tank 4, and the lower layer part 8 into the tower 1. After water washing and mixing in each tower and tank, the layer in the tower is formed as layer 13, and layers 12 and 11 charged sequentially from the tanks 4 and 5 and formed thereon. Thus, the resin layer containing Na type resin comes to the uppermost layer, so that Na+ leak may be prevented. Therefore, high purity treated water may be stably obtained.
