Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable stable operation of an ozonizer without lowering the ozonization efficiency over a long term by setting a gas reactor for decomposing org. matter, into carbon dioxide and water, contained in oxygen discharged from an oz one reactor.
CONSTITUTION: Gas reactor 8 is set in the oxygen recycle ozone generating apparatus in which ozonized oxygen from ozonizer 1 is introduced into ozone reactor 2 consuming ozone, and oxygen discharged from reactor 2 is recycled to ozonizer 1 with gas recle blower 3 to use the oxygen as raw oxygen again. Org. matter in oxygen discharged from reactor 2 reacts with ozone in reactor 8 to be decomposed into carbon dioxide and water. Ozone required for this reaction is supplied by bypassing part of ozone to be fed to reactor 2. Thus, long-term stable operation of the apparatus is enabled without contaminating an absorbent, the ozonizer, etc.
