Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize loss of thermal energy in the rolled process in such a way that after cooling off shot which has become high temperature condition by a shot cooler, it is supplied again to an injector for being re-used, and the high temperature rolled material is brought into being shot blasted as it is.
CONSTITUTION: Shot injected from an injector 3 onto a high temperature rolled material (a) falls down for the most part into an injecting chamber 1, one part of which is put on the high temperature rolled material (a), and sent to the side of a blow-off chamber 18 of the shot. Then, the matter in the injecting chamber 1 among the shot which has become high temperature condition is carried by a conveyor 17, the matter sent into the blow-off chamber 18 carried by a conveyor 37, both of which are conveyed to a shot cooler 40 to be cooled off therein. The shot which has been cooled off is, then, carried out of a cooled shot outlet port 54 of the cooler 40 at a settled rate, supplied to an injector 3 of said injecting chamber 1 by a conveyor 61 at the underneath, ensuing high temperature rolled material (a) is continuously disposed of by shot blasting.
