Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the washing efficiency of filter medium by sending washing hot water and steam into inlet and outlet tubes through which fluid passes and which are connected to filter medium. CONSTITUTION:When washing magnetic susbatances arrested in the filter medium 1, electrification to the coul 4 is first discontinued to release the magnetization of filter element, then each valve is opened or closed to form passage lines, and then washing hot water is sent to the inlet 6 and steam is sent to the inlet 21. The hot water and steam flow from the conduit 2 to the filter medium 1 where bubbling occurs by steam and thereby nearly all oils and megnetic substances are released into the hot water and the polluted hot water falls down from the conduit 3 to the water tank 8. Also, the passage of washing hot water and steam through the conduit 3 in the opposite direction of liquid to be treated is permitted.
