Abstract
PURPOSE:To treat condensed water economically and effectively while reducing regeneration frequency in an ammonia cycle by subjecting exchange resins after treating the water to back washing, separation and regeneration after which resins distant from the resin interface are used as second layers and resins near the interface as first layers. CONSTITUTION:At the time of treating condensed water, a desalination tower is packed with a second anion exchange resin layer, a second cation exchange resin layer, a first anion exchange resin layer, and a first cation exchange resin layer from the bottom in order. At the time of regenerating the layers, all of the resins are shifted to regeneration tower 4, back-washed, separated, and supplied with acid 8 as a rising stream from the bottom of tower 4 and alkali 6 as a falling stream from the top. After regeneration resins (c), (d) distant from the resin interface are used as the second cation and anion layers in the desalination tower, and resins (a), (b) near the interface as the first cation and anion layers, respectively. Thus, resin regeneration frequency in an ammonia cycle is reduced, and high quality treated water is economically obtd. by easy operation control.
