Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized output signal, by removing dark current which becomes an unwanted signal and by using this as a dark current compensation level. CONSTITUTION:A positive pulse is given to reset gate G of CCD during the frame transfer period, and dark current flowing into drain D is stored in capacity C as compensation signal source. Then, this is maintained in the sample hold circuit for the next frame period. This output is coupled with one FET of differential amplifier A, which consists of two FETs. The output of CCD is coupled with the other FET. Then, by the signal obtained at output terminal 0, the variation due to temperature rise and other causes can be compensated.
