Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by providing a switch element, controlled synchronizing with the horizontal synchronizing signal of a video signal, between an FET amplifying circuit and a power source. CONSTITUTION:The switching of a switch element 4 is controlled and the one- line analog signal, etc., of a video signal is sampled and held in a capacitor 5 to amplify and output the sampled and held voltage through an N type FET6 whose source is connected to a power source VDD through a resistance 7. When a P type FET8 is connected in series between the source of the FET6 and the powr source VDD and controlled by a horizontal synchronizing signal or a signal synchronizing with it, a current flows from the power source VDD at need to prevent unnecessary power consumption, reducing the power consumption of the sample holding circuit.
