Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title copolymer composition having improved insile strength, heat shrindkability, processability, etc., by compounding an ethylene copolymer with inorganic powder having neutral to basic surface and treated with titanate coupling agent.
CONSTITUTION: The title copolymer having improved tensile properties, is prepared by compounding (A) 100 parts by weight of an ethylene copolymer composed of ethylene and 5W30wt% of ethyl acrylate, with (B) 100W500 parts of inorganic powder having neutral to basic surface and treated with a titanate coupling agent. The inorganic powder is, e.g. Al(OH)3, CaCO3, talc, etc., and the titanate coupling agent is a monoalkoxy organic titanate, e.g. isopropyl-triisostearoyl titanate, etc.
