Abstract

PURPOSE: A polyolefin composition having improved mechanical properties, surface gloss, scratch resistance, and reduced flow mark and water absorption, comprising a specific organometallic compound, an inorganic filler, and a polyolefin.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) 0.1W100wt% based on the inorganic filler of an organometallc compound of formula (R1 is lower hydrocarbon residue; R2, R3, and R4 are 5W18C hydrocarbon residues; M is a metal of group IV in the periodic table; m is a positive integer), (B) a polyolefin, and (C) 0.1W75wt% based on the total weight of the filler and polyolefin of an inorganic filler. Calcium carbonate, clay, glass fibers, glass powder, sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, etc. may be cited as the inorganic filler.
