Abstract

PURPOSE: To treat a picture rapidly and accurately picture by detecting the difference between the current position on the recording material of light beam and the position to be scanned and by scanning the specified position controlling a polariscope.
CONSTITUTION: When a position to be scanned is placed at the position 31 showing with an alternate long and two short dashes lines while a recording material bed 6 moves in advance, a operation circuit 10, receiving a signal from a position detector 8 of the bed 6, conputes the difference between the standard scanning position 21 and the position 31 to be scanned actually and then calculates a deflection necessary to compensate for the difference to send it to the polariscope 3. After the light beam passes through the light position detector 9 by this signal, it scans the specified position 31 on the recording material bed 6. The same treatment can be made even when the rotatable polygon mirror is deflected and the mirror face is abnormally nclined.
