Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately detect the position of a body to be detected from an electric current at the time of interruption of light rays by providing an optical mirror on a rotary shaft following after the current of a drive winding to form parallel light rays.
CONSTITUTION: The measuring device comprises the light source 14 of a laser light or the like which injects light rays onto an optical mirror 13 mounted on the end part of the rotary shaft 12 of a scanning apparatus 11, the first lens 15 which forms the reflected light rays from the optical mirror 13 into parallel scanning light rays, the second lens 16 which focuses the scanning light rays, and a photoelectric switch 17. It is detected by the photoelectric switch 17 that a body 18 to be detected has interrupted the scanning light rays, the angle of rotation of the optical mirror 13 is detected from the direction and value of the current flowing through the drive winding of the scanning apparatus 11 at the time of detection. It is possible to detect the position of the body 18 to be detected from the angle of rotation.
