Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to inspect the inside surface of a hollow shaft on the basis of change of the light receiving quantity by irradiating the light beam of a narrow flux onto the hollow shaft inside surface and by receiving the reflected light beam. CONSTITUTION:Optical inspection head 2a is inserted into hollow shaft 10, and simultaneously, inspection light generation unit 3a and signal processing unit 6 are started. The inspection light generated from inspection light generation unit 3a is projected onto the inside surface of hollow shaft 10 through mirror 3b, mirror system 3c, and lens system 3d, and the refelection pattern of the inside surface of hollow shaft 10 at this time is obtained by signal processing unit 6. By this reflection pattern, existence of flaw can be detected.
