Abstract

PURPOSE: To work an object accurately according to patterns by scanning an original picture with thick light coaxial to finely condensed light, detecting two beams of reflected light selectively with two sets of photoelectric transducers and controlling the output of a CO2 lazer via a processing circuit having a discriminating function and a power control function.
CONSTITUTION: Fine light 6 and thick light 10 are irradiated onto an original picture 4, and two beams of reflected light are detected selectively with two sets of photoelectric transducers 17, 18. The picture 2 is scanned with two kinds of such light, and the relative positions of the work 5 and a CO2 laser 22 are synchronized by rotating a drum 1.
