Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily obtain precise registration and facilitate a yoke assembly by providing a minute permanent magnet at the arbitrary position on a circumference which encloses an image pickup tube in almost the same plane as the photoelectric film of the image pickup tube. CONSTITUTION:The conical narrow groove 5 is provided concentrically with the image pickup tube 2 on the front retention plate of the yoke assembly 1. A number of minute permanent magnets 6 are fit in this groove 5 and move along with the groove 5. The position of these magnets 6 move properly. By the weak compensating magnetic field 7 generated by the magnets, the distortion of the electron beam scanning trace caused by the minute magnetic distortion which is slightly left near the electron beam scanning area can be compensated and removed. This can easily obtain precise registration and facilitate fabrication of the yoke assembly.
