Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the blanking period of deflection scanning of CRT without increasing power loss, by detecting whether or not the potential difference is produced between the deflection voltage and the feedback voltage and changing the deflection current to the deflection coil as the result of detection. CONSTITUTION:The output of the horizontal position adjusting circuit 3 is fed to the electromagnetic deflection amplifier circuit 5 via the linearity corrector 4. A diode 92 and a resistor 91 are connected, which are connected opposite to the diode 96, to the output terminal of an operational amplifier 11 of the circuit 5, and the potential difference between the deflection voltage of an amplifier 11 and the feedback voltage from the connection K is detected with the transistor TR93 connected to the diode 92, and TR93 turns on with the output of the amplifier 11 when no potential difference exists, and TR80 turns on with it and the electromotive force of the power supply 82 is fed to the collector of TR12. Further, according to the potential between the feedback voltage and the deflecting voltage, the deflection current to the deflection yoke 61 is changed to shorten the blanking period at the deflection scanning without increasing the power loss.
