Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct blooming causing by the fluctuation of an acceleration voltage by detecting the fluctuation of the acceleration voltage and controlling current flowing to an electromagnetic focusing coil. CONSTITUTION:A static main focusing device 11 comprising a permanent magnet and a dynamic auxiliary focusing device 12 comprising a ring coil are installed in a neck 4 of a CRT 1 in which an electron gun 5 and a deflection york 6 are mounted. Fluctuation of an output current of a high voltage generation circuit 20 which supplies an acceleration voltage to an anode electrode 3 of the CRT 1 is detected with a high voltage fluctuation detecting circuit 21, and amplified with a current control amplification circuit 30 to supply to the auxiliary focusing device 12. Therefore, increase of an electron beam diameter causing by fluctuation of the acceleration voltage is suppressed and kept almost constant.
